FOOTBALL

In a world where sedentary lifestyles are becoming the norm, football offers a fun and dynamic way to stay active. It builds strength, agility, and endurance, ensuring that you are not only physically fit but also mentally sharp. Moreover, football is about more than just wins and losses; it's about camaraderie and sportsmanship. Through football, you'll forge bonds with your teammates that will last a lifetime. You'll celebrate victories together, support each other through defeats, and build a sense of unity and belonging that extends far beyond the field.

Whether a seasoned player or new to the game, there's a place for all in our team. Together, let's embark on this journey of growth, friendship, and unforgettable moments. Let's lace up our cleats, hit the field, and show the world what we're made of, by practising regularly with the appropriate kits after 4.30 pm in BJEM school field. Every year, there is an inter-house football event in which we urge students to take part. About 150 children have signed up for the football team of the BJEM SCHOOL Sports Club, which is running by physical education instructors. Swami Vivekananda once said that a person will be "nearer to Heaven through football than through the study of the Gita". Our conviction in it inspires our kids, which in turn motivates our students to compete in S.G.F.I. competitions as well as tournaments held at the state and national levels.

BASKETBALL

As the great Michael Jordan once said,

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times, I've been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."

Basketball fosters a sense of team spirit and sportsmanship. Whether we win or lose, it's the respect we show towards our opponents and teammates that truly defines us as athletes.

We provide a well-maintained basketball court with proper lighting for all the interested students (boys and girls) to practice regularly under the guidance of Physical Education Teachers. Around 120 players have enrolled themselves and regular training is imparted to them under Sports Club of BJEM School. Most of the skills are instilled to all young players in the afternoon session. Both boys and girls have been performing well and are selected in state and national level competitions as well as S.G.F.I Competition.
